Role Description The Demand Manager at Orveo Luxe is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining demand forecasts, analyzing sales trends, and coordinating with supply chain, marketing, and sales teams to ensure accurate planning. The Demand Manager will monitor product performance, track promotions and launches, and adjust demand plans to support inventory optimization and minimize stock-outs or overstock situations. Day-to-day tasks include preparing demand and supply reports, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, presenting insights to leadership, and implementing process improvements in demand planning. The role also involves supporting strategic initiatives related to new product introductions, seasonal campaigns, and market expansion.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills, with experience in demand planning, data analysis, and interpreting sales and inventory metrics.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and planning tools (e.g., Excel, demand planning software, ERP systems) and comfort working with large data sets.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including supply chain, marketing, finance, and sales.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex insights in a clear, concise manner.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Relevant experience in FMCG, beauty, skincare, or consumer goods demand planning is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced environment in Delhi, India, with flexibility to support peak periods and product launch cycles.
