Role:
We are hiring a SDE4/Pod Lead for our Client HEVA (Code Name).
As a Software Development Engineer IV at HEVA, you will lead the design and
development of highly maintainable and efficient backend systems, driving feature
delivery across multiple sprints. You will own critical components, resolve complex
performance and scalability challenges, and ensure high code quality. This senior role
requires strong technical leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a
focus on delivering robust enterprise products.

Key Responsibilities:
●Design, develop, and maintain highly efficient and scalable backend components and
systems.
●Lead feature delivery as a pod lead, driving execution across multiple sprints.
● Independently scope, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
● Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues in complex enterprise products.
● Improve overall code structure and product quality through best engineering practices.
● Maintain comprehensive documentation for both code and non-code aspects of owned
components.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance core products and deliver new
features.
● Apply object-oriented design principles and design patterns to build intuitive modules
and interfaces.
Required Skills:
● Strong object-oriented design skills with proficiency in applying design patterns.
● Proven experience designing and building scalable, distributed systems.
● Expertise in Java (must have).
● Demonstrated ability to work on highly concurrent, multithreaded applications with a
focus on performance and throughput.
● Solid understanding of system performance trade-offs, load balancing, and high
availability engineering.
● Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
● Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and their space and time complexities.
● Technical aptitude and solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
● 6-9 years of experience in building scalable, highly critical distributed systems.
● Mentorship Experience- leading a POD of junior engineers.
● B Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institution.

● Experience with cutting-edge data integration solutions.
● Exposure to enterprise-grade product development.
● Familiarity with maintaining both code and non-code documentation.
● Ability to innovate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
