Job details:
- Define and lead the architecture of Esko's next-generation AWS-based cloud platform.
- Drive the design of scalable, secure, resilient, and multi-tenant SaaS solutions.
- Design and write critical software components and modules.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to deliver cloud-native capabilities.
- Establish architectural standards, governance, and best practices across the organization.
- Lead cloud modernization initiatives, including microservices, Kubernetes, DevOps, AI-enabled services, data architecture and platform engineering.
- Guide critical decisions across software development, infrastructure, deployment, operations, security, and reliability.
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of experience in software development & architecture roles, with a proven track record building large-scale enterprise or SaaS platforms.
- Deep expertise in AWS cloud technologies and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java backend development, with expertise in building large-scale, cloud-native enterprise applications using Java and related frameworks.
- Proven experience designing and developing high-performance microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems in Java-based technology stacks.
- Broad technical experience spanning software development, architecture, DevOps, deployment automation, operations, and platform reliability.
- Experience designing and operating multi-tenant SaaS platforms at scale.
- Strong leadership experience managing and mentoring architecture teams.
- Expertise with modern cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, containers, APIs, event-driven architectures, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and security.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both executive leadership and engineering teams.
Preferred Experience
- Packaging, manufacturing, supply chain, CPG, or life sciences industry experience.
- Experience with AI, data platforms, and modern SaaS ecosystems.
- AWS Professional certifications.
- Experience leading cloud transformation and platform consolidation initiatives.
