Role Description The GEM Tender Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for managing the complete tender lifecycle on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform, including identifying relevant tender opportunities, preparing documentation, and ensuring timely submission. The GEM Tender Executive will coordinate with internal teams to gather technical and commercial inputs, maintain accurate records of bids, and track tender status and outcomes. Daily activities include monitoring government procurement portals, responding to queries, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, and supporting post-award documentation and follow-ups. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of GeM policies, contributing to process improvements, and supporting reporting and analysis related to tender performance.
Qualifications
- Experience with GeM portal operations, including tender search, bid preparation, submission, and post-award processes.
- Strong skills in documentation, data management, and attention to detail for preparing accurate tender proposals and maintaining records.
- Ability to interpret tender terms and conditions, compliance requirements, and basic commercial and contractual clauses.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with online government portals and digital tools.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to collaborate with sales, finance, legal, and technical teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, engineering, or a related field; prior experience in government tenders or B2G sales is an advantage.
- Familiarity with water purification or consumer electronics industries is beneficial, along with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-growing company.
