Role Description The Graduate Engineering Trainee will support the design, development, and testing of sensor solutions, working closely with engineering teams on mechanical and manufacturing aspects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in prototype development, analyzing performance data, preparing technical documentation, and contributing to process improvement initiatives. The role involves collaborating on project tasks, learning company standards and tools, and participating in cross-functional meetings to understand requirements from different industries. This is a full-time remote role, offering structured training, mentorship, and exposure to end-to-end product development in advanced sensor technology.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering skills relevant to sensor and product development.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and basic Project Management abilities to support data-driven decisions and organized execution of tasks.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear documentation, collaboration with remote teams, and interaction with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with engineering design tools (e.g., CAD), basic knowledge of materials or nanomaterials, and an interest in advanced sensor technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; internship or academic project experience in product development or industrial applications is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and demonstrate attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
