Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Generative AI Engineer with 8+ years of overall software/AI experience to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI and Generative AI solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, prompt engineering, NLP, Python, APIs, and cloud platforms. You will work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop production-ready Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
- Build intelligent AI agents and agentic workflows using modern frameworks and orchestration techniques.
- Develop and optimize RAG pipelines, including document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, retrieval, reranking, and response generation.
- Work with commercial and open-source LLMs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, Llama, Mistral, or similar models.
- Develop effective prompt engineering, context engineering, and evaluation strategies.
- Integrate GenAI capabilities into enterprise applications through REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Work with vector databases such as Pinecone, Azure AI Search, Weaviate, Milvus, Chroma, or FAISS.
- Build solutions for document intelligence, conversational AI, enterprise search, summarization, classification, and knowledge assistants.
- Implement LLM evaluation, monitoring, observability, guardrails, and responsible AI practices.
- Optimize AI applications for accuracy, latency, scalability, reliability, and cost.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders.
- Design and implement secure AI solutions suitable for enterprise and production environments.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to technical architecture and best practices.
Required Technical Skills
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, data science, or related fields.
- Strong programming experience in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and Machine Learning.
- Strong understanding of RAG architecture and LLM application development.
- Experience building AI agents / agentic AI systems.
- Strong knowledge of prompt engineering and context engineering.
- Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent.
- Experience with vector databases and embedding models.
- Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, and cloud-native development.
- Experience integrating AI/ML models into enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of LLM evaluation, model safety, hallucination mitigation, and AI governance.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multi-agent systems and agent orchestration.
- Experience with MCP, tool calling, function calling, and AI workflow automation.
- Experience with fine-tuning, LoRA/PEFT, embeddings, and model optimization.
- Knowledge of ML/LLM Ops and observability platforms.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Vertex AI, or similar enterprise AI platforms.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience delivering GenAI solutions in enterprise environments.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
