Role Overview
We are looking for a curious and motivated Software Engineer intern who blends solid foundational development skills with a genuine enthusiasm for AI-assisted development workflows. You will work alongside our engineering team to build and ship features while actively using modern AI tooling to accelerate your output, and you’re learning.
Duration: 3 Months (Extendible to 6 months)

Stipend: ₹5,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
Development & Frameworks
▸ Build and maintain UI components and features using React and related front-end frameworks.
▸ Writing REST API routes and connecting them to a PostgreSQL database via Supabase
▸ Creating responsive UI components using shadcn/ui and TailwindCSS
▸ Integrating third-party services (WhatsApp, Cloudinary, calendar, notifications)
▸ Collaborating on Supabase Edge Functions for automated workflows
▸ Write clean, readable, and maintainable code with a working understanding of how the framework operates under the hood (and not just copy-paste).
▸ Participate in code reviews, ask questions, and actively receive feedback to grow technically.
AI-Augmented Development
▸ Use Cursor as the primary IDE for day-to-day coding, leveraging its AI capabilities (inline suggestions, chat, context-aware completions) to write and debug code faster.
▸ Utilise Claude Code for complex refactors, architectural discussions, and code generation tasks.
▸ Maintain version control discipline using GitHub (branching, PRs, commit hygiene, and code collaboration)
▸ Proactively explore and trial new AI development tools, extensions, and workflows as they emerge, sharing findings with the team.
Learning & Growth
▸ Stay curious, regularly experiment with new AI tools and share what works with the wider engineering team.
▸ Attend standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to understand the full development lifecycle.
▸ Document processes and learnings in a clear, accessible way for the team.
What We're Looking For
Technical Knowledge
▸ Basic to intermediate understanding of React, including but not limited to components, props, state, hooks, and component lifecycle.
▸ Understanding of REST APIs and how client-server communication works
▸ Basic knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn
▸ Comfortable using Git for version control
▸ Experience with CI/CD pipelines or deployment tools like Vercel or Netlify.
AI Tool Fluency
▸ Hands-on experience with Cursor IDE, knows how to write effective prompts and leverage AI completions in a coding context.
▸ Exposure to Claude Code or similar AI coding assistants for agentic development tasks.
▸ Willingness to learn and experiment: the ability to evaluate a new AI tool quickly and apply it meaningfully is more important than a specific tool's mastery.
Mindset
▸ Open, curious, and proactive, not afraid to try new things or admit when you don't know something.
▸ A learner-first attitude: you read docs, watch tutorials, and iterate quickly.
▸ Collaborative and communicative, you ask for help when stuck and share what you learn.
Nice To Have
▸ Exposure to any back-end framework (Node.js, Python/FastAPI, etc.).
▸ Experience with CI/CD pipelines or deployment tools like Vercel or Netlify.
▸ Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or component libraries (shadcn/ui, Radix, etc.).

▸ Prior exposure to Next.js App Router
▸ Experience with Supabase
