Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Rotary Engineer to oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability of rotating equipment at the CR3 CMC Site, Jamnagar. The candidate should possess strong technical expertise in rotary equipment maintenance, team management, and client coordination to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of all types of rotating equipment.
- Maintain, inspect, and supervise maintenance activities for:
- Pumps (Centrifugal, Positive Displacement, etc.)
- Compressors
- Steam Turbines
- Fin Fans / Air Coolers
- Blowers and Roots Blowers
- Tank Mixers / Agitators
- Sundyne Pumps
- Other rotary equipment as required.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Supervise and manage manpower as per Business Partner and client requirements.
- Allocate work, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules.
- Conduct daily site visits to monitor work progress, safety, and equipment condition.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with client representatives, operations teams, and contractors.
- Prepare maintenance reports, work progress reports, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, work permits, and company HSE policies.
- Support shutdown, turnaround, and emergency maintenance activities.
Required Skills- Strong knowledge of rotary equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to identify equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Good leadership and manpower management skills.
- Excellent communication and client-handling abilities.
- Familiarity with maintenance planning and reporting.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Experience- Experience in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial plants.
- Knowledge of vibration analysis, alignment, balancing, and condition monitoring is an added advantage.
- Experience working at Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) or similar refinery projects will be preferred.
