Job details:
MicroHeal is building the “Shopify for healthcare” — an agentic AI platform for end-to-end patient journey management. We’re live with paying clients across multi-specialty departments, backed by IIT Bombay, IIT Indore, and NSRCEL. We’re looking for an ex-founder who has built in healthcare or life sciences to join as our EIR and operate like a co-owner of the business.
Who this role is for:
You’ve founded (or been founding-team at) a healthcare, healthtech, diagnostics, pharma, or life sciences company. You’ve felt the pain of hospital sales cycles, clinical validation, and regulatory gates firsthand. Your venture may have exited, pivoted, or shut down — what matters is that you’ve been in the arena and you’re hungry to build again, this time with a platform that’s already earning revenue.
What you’ll own — and how you’ll actually do it.
1. Vertical wedge ownership (your P&L)
You’ll pick up one of our pre-packaged GTM wedges — Diagnostics Journey, OPD-to-IPD Conversion, or Discharge/Post-Discharge — and run it like your own startup inside MicroHeal. That means: building the prospect pipeline, running CXO discovery calls (CEO/COO/CMO/CFO personas), scoping deployments, and converting pilots into annual contracts. You’ll be measured on revenue and time-to-deployment, not activity.
2. Founder-led enterprise sales
Hospital deals don’t close on decks — they close on trust between operators. You’ll sit across the table from hospital leadership as a peer who has built in this space, translate their operational gaps into our agent-to-gap mapping, and shorten the 6–12 month healthcare AI deployment wall that kills most vendors.
3. Zero-to-one on new verticals
As we expand the journey ontology beyond Cardiology, Neurology, and Gastroenterology, you’ll validate the next specialty or market wedge — running discovery, pressure-testing willingness-to-pay, and writing the business case before we commit engineering resources. Essentially: incubate the next product line the way you’d validate a startup idea.
4. Strategic voice at the table
You’ll work directly with the founder on fundraising narratives, competitive positioning, partnership strategy, and international expansion sequencing (GCC → SEA → US). Your scar tissue from your own venture is the asset here — you’ll tell us where we’re about to make the mistakes you’ve already made.
What we’re looking for
• Founded or co-founded a company in healthcare, healthtech, diagnostics, or life sciences (any outcome — exit, pivot, or shutdown)
• Direct experience selling to or operating inside hospitals, labs, clinics, or pharma
• Comfort with ambiguity: you’ll write your own playbook, not follow one
• Fluency in the Indian healthcare context (ABDM, NABH, hospital procurement) is a strong plus
• Founder-level ownership mentality — this role converts into a leadership seat (or your next co-founded vertical) for the right person
What you get
• Meaningful equity + competitive compensation
• A revenue-generating platform to build on — not a blank whiteboard
• Direct line to the founder; no layers, no politics
• A launchpad: many EIRs use this seat to lead their next big thing — here, you can build it inside
