Role Description The Design Engineer will work on-site in Mathura in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and development of mechanical and electro-mechanical products and systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software, performing design calculations, and collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure technical accuracy and manufacturability. The role involves refining product concepts, preparing documentation and specifications, participating in design reviews, and supporting prototype development and testing. The Design Engineer will coordinate with cross-functional teams such as production and quality to resolve design issues, improve existing designs, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong Design Engineering skills, including concept development, design optimization, and problem-solving for engineered products.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering with knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, drafting, and creating detailed engineering drawings.
- Foundational understanding of Electrical Engineering principles for integrating electrical components into product designs.
- Experience in Product Design, including translating user requirements into functional designs and supporting prototypes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Ability to interpret industry standards, work with tolerances, and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and readiness to work on-site in Mathura.
