Job Summary
We are looking for a Delinea PAM Engineer with hands-on experience in Delinea Secret Server to support and enhance our enterprise Privileged Access Management (PAM) environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering, troubleshooting, automating, and optimizing the Delinea Secret Server platform in a SaaS and Hybrid infrastructure. This role involves working closely with Infrastructure, IAM, Security, and Application teams to ensure secure management of privileged credentials across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the Delinea Secret Server platform in SaaS and Hybrid environments.
- Onboard servers, privileged accounts, service accounts, databases, and applications into the PAM solution.
- Configure and manage password vaulting, password rotation, secret templates, discovery, and access permissions.
- Troubleshoot issues related to privileged access, password rotation, connectivity, account onboarding, and authentication.
- Automate onboarding, credential management, and operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs.
- Support post-migration stabilization, cleanup, and optimization activities following PAM platform transitions.
- Implement password policies, privileged access controls, and security best practices.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, IAM, Security Operations, Cloud, and Application teams to onboard new assets and resolve production issues.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and production support in a 24x7 environment.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Monitor platform health, perform upgrades, and recommend improvements for performance and security.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Delinea Secret Server (formerly Thycotic Secret Server).
- Experience working with Privileged Access Management (PAM) concepts and enterprise password vault solutions.
- Knowledge of privileged account onboarding, password rotation, secret management, and access workflows.
- Experience administering Windows and Linux privileged accounts.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for PAM-related issues, including connectivity, authentication, and credential management.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages for automation.
- Experience working with REST APIs for integrations and automation.
- Understanding of enterprise security best practices, least privilege, and privileged access governance.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SaaS and Hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, Kerberos, and authentication protocols.
- Familiarity with CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or other PAM solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and incident management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- 2-7 years of experience in Infrastructure Security, Identity & Access Management, or Privileged Access Management.
