Location: DLF Project Site, Gurugram
Job Purpose
To ensure the highest standards of quality assurance and quality control throughout the project lifecycle by monitoring construction activities, conducting inspections, maintaining quality documentation, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities1. Quality Inspection & Assurance
- Inspect incoming construction materials for compliance with approved specifications, standards, and contract requirements.
- Monitor site activities and workmanship to ensure adherence to approved drawings, quality plans, method statements, and project specifications.
- Conduct routine quality inspections and identify non-conformities.
- Ensure timely implementation and closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test certificates, and all related documentation.
2. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly quality inspection reports.
- Document site observations, non-conformities, corrective actions, and compliance status.
- Review and submit material approval reports, inspection reports, and quality compliance reports to clients.
- Maintain project quality documentation in line with company and client requirements.
- Monitor and report quality performance indicators (KPIs).
3. Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities.
- Address client observations and ensure timely closure of comments.
- Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders regarding quality-related matters.
- Support client audits and quality assessments.
4. Meetings & Follow-up
- Attend project review meetings, quality meetings, and client coordination meetings.
- Present project quality updates and discuss key issues, risks, and resolutions.
- Prepare meeting minutes (MoM) and track closure of action items.
- Follow up on pending inspections, approvals, and client requirements.
- Coordinate submission of invoices and follow up for timely payment release.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, QA/QC procedures, and quality management systems.
- Sound understanding of construction standards, codes, and inspection practices.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Excellent report writing, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and client relationship management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project documentation systems.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 8–12 years of experience in QA/QC or project quality management for high-rise buildings, commercial projects, or large-scale construction projects.
- Experience working with reputed developers/clients such as DLF or equivalent will be preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant construction quality standards is desirable.
