Eden Renewables India is currently offering a position as Deputy Manager / Manager - AC Engineering within the Engineering Department where you will be playing a fundamental role within a team of highly skilled and experienced professionals. Incorporated in 2016 as a Joint-Venture between Total Energies and EDF power solutions, Eden Renewables India has been developing, engineering, financing, constructing, and operating over 2.3 GW of solar PV assets in India.
Key roles and responsibilities
- The overall Design Experience consists of the AC scope of Engineering in utility scale PV Plant Design, preparation of single line diagram, BOQ preparations, Engineering calculations for various types of Solar PV Power plants.
- Inverter rating calculation and AC circuitry up to power evacuations up to 220KV and above.
- Documentation work for Complete AC side Engineering.
- Knowledge of PLC /SCADA system, Load dispatch Communication Systems like PLCC, Fibre Optic communication BY FOTE Panel, RLDC RTU etc.
- Hands on experience for preparations of Single Line Diagram (Power & Auxiliary), Equipment Layouts, Fault level calculations, Relay setting calculations, Switchyard Design, Cable calculations etc.
- Documentation and Scheduling, Earthing Sizing calculations as per IS 3043 and IEEE 80, Preparation of Technical specification of AC side equipment like HT Switchgears, Inverter Duty Transformers, CT-PT, LA, Isolators, Power Transformers, Control Relay Panel, SCADA system etc as per AC scope Engineering.
- Good experience in preparations of Detail Project reports, technical reports and RFPs for Solar PV projects in EPC selection.
- Broad understanding of power systems and a thorough understanding of Substation design in EPC/Developer company.
- Complete Design and Engineering for substations up to 220/400/765 KV AIS/GIS covering below:
- Primary Electrical Engineering (SLD, Layouts, EKD with BOQ, Illumination, Firefighting, Design Calculations, etc.)
- Secondary Electrical Engineering (Protection SLD, CRP and Automation Scheme, cable schedule and termination diagram).
- Equipment Engineering (Transformers, H.T Switchboards, Inverters, PLC/ SCADA, Circuit Breaker)
- Preparation of SLDs & Layouts of voltage level up to 765 KV.
- Calculation of Transformer sizing, Battery sizing, Cable sizing, Earthing & Lightning Protection calculation, Preparation of Power & Control Cable Schedule
- Pre & post bid clarifications with EPCs & consultants
- Preparation of design & specifications for electrical equipment
- Knowledge of latest IEC /IS/IEEE/NEC Design codes.
- Engineering and reviewing the design basis reports, basic specifications & drawings for releasing/floating the enquiries.
- Review and analyze the bid technical documents and identifies the scope of supply, clarifications, prepares data sheets etc.
- Candidate should have latest information about the new products like various types of Protections Relays, Relay communication system, Inverters, Transformers, Switchgears Cable design needs.
- Erection, Testing & Commissioning and Operation of Electrical Equipment’s under AC scope of Engineering.
- Design consideration for Installation method of various equipment as required in Solar PV plants.
- Aligning with the field installation team.
- Coordination with the various EPC contractors for ensuring optimize engineering as per Industry’s prudent practices /standards/regulations.
- Sound knowledge of Grid compliance study
- Knowledge of analytical software like ETAP and PSCAD will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of latest CEA regulations, Plant Design, Documentation required for Project Connectivity like CON4, CON5 etc.
- Coordination with Govt bodies like Load dispatch Centers, CTU and CEA.
Qualifications, skills and experience
- B.E / B Tech (Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics).
- Strong analytical, organizational and data gathering/documentation skills
- Ability to self-manage, work effectively under pressure and in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels across the organization
- Experience of working with very senior stakeholders Creating & sustaining a Dynamic environment to boost the skills of the associates and other cross functionaries in the organisation.
