SAP SuccessFactors Solution Lead (Fixed-Term Contract | 36 Months)
Voltas is embarking on a strategic HR transformation journey through the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors. We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Solution Lead to act as the organization's internal SuccessFactors subject matter expert and client-side (Voltas-side) implementation lead.
This role will work alongside the appointed implementation partner to ensure the successful design, configuration, testing, deployment, and adoption of SAP SuccessFactors across the organization. The incumbent will provide expert guidance, challenge solution recommendations where required, validate configuration decisions against business requirements and SAP best practices, and ensure the implementation partner delivers a high-quality, scalable, and future-ready solution.
Unlike a traditional Program Manager role, this position requires deep functional and solution expertise across the SuccessFactors suite. The successful candidate will be expected to actively participate in design workshops, review and approve configurations, perform impact assessments, support testing activities, and independently undertake small to mid-size enhancements and configuration changes where appropriate, reducing dependency on external partners.
The role will be responsible for ensuring that the implemented solution delivers business value, supports statutory and operational requirements, and aligns with Voltas' long-term HR technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Ownership & Design Governance
- Act as Voltas' internal SAP SuccessFactors solution authority throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Review, challenge, and approve solution designs proposed by the implementation partner.
- Ensure configurations align with business requirements, SAP best practices, scalability considerations, and future roadmap requirements.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce customization, and maximize standard SuccessFactors capabilities.
Implementation Partner Management
- Work closely with the implementation partner on a day-to-day basis to guide delivery and ensure accountability.
- Review deliverables, challenge assumptions, and validate recommendations before acceptance.
- Monitor quality, timelines, risks, and dependencies across all workstreams.
- Escalate concerns proactively and ensure issues are resolved effectively.
Hands-On Functional Leadership
- Participate actively in fit-gap assessments, design workshops, testing activities, cutover planning, and deployment activities.
- Perform solution validation, impact analysis, and configuration reviews across all modules.
- Independently execute low-to-medium complexity system configuration, prototyping, and enhancement activities wherever feasible.
- Build and maintain deep system knowledge to reduce long-term reliance on implementation partners.

Testing & Quality Assurance
- Lead business validation activities including SIT, UAT, payroll parallel runs, and production readiness assessments.
- Ensure all configurations meet business, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Validate integrations, workflows, permissions, reporting, and downstream impacts.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner closely with HR, Payroll, Compliance, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate design decisions and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the program.
- Support change management, training, and user adoption activities.
Continuous Improvement
- Establish an internal roadmap for post-go-live enhancements and optimization and implement the agile methodology for SDLC
- Identify opportunities to leverage new SuccessFactors innovations and AI capabilities.
- Develop internal capability and knowledge to support long-term platform ownership.
