GreenStitch is a seed-funded Climate & ESG SaaS platform purpose-built for the fashion and textile industry. We serve global enterprise customers across the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia, helping brands manage Scope 1/2/3 emissions, Digital Product Passports, supplier scorecards, and regulatory compliance — all in one platform. We're a 22-person team with an engineering squad of ~8–9, moving fast and building the next generation of our agentic AI layer.
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own backend services end-to-end and contribute to our greenfield multi-agent AI platform that defines our product roadmap for the next two years.
- ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and own production-grade backend microservices deployed on AWS — from architecture to on-call
- Contribute to the agentic AI service layer being built on top of our SaaS platform — tool integrations, agent orchestration, MCP connectors
- Lead HLD/LLD for new modules and participate in design reviews with the team
- Ensure enterprise-grade reliability — performance tuning, observability, incident response
- Mentor peers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing
- Must-Have Requirements3–5 years of hands-on backend engineering experience in a product company (B2B or B2C tech)
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot (Java) or Python as a primary production language
- Proven experience with microservices architecture, end-to-end deployment, and production ownership on AWS
- Career stability — demonstrated ability to stay and grow meaningfully at past employers (at least 1.5–2 years at most roles)
- Strong CS fundamentals — data structures, algorithms, and system design thinking
- Good to HaveHands-on experience with agentic AI / LLMs — RAG, LangChain, LlamaIndex, evals, guardrails, or MCP tool integrations
- B2B SaaS background, ideally with enterprise integrations (ERP, PLM)
- Early-stage or founding engineer experience
- Familiarity with Kafka, Terraform, Redis, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, or observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Degree from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 engineering college
