Role Description The Human Resources Business Partner at BrightCHAMPS will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals and supporting a high-performance, inclusive culture. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru involves managing employee relations, advising managers on HR policies, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting performance management cycles, guiding workforce planning, handling employee grievances, and facilitating constructive feedback and coaching conversations. The HR Business Partner will collaborate with cross-functional teams on talent development, engagement initiatives, and change management, while providing data-driven HR insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a startup or B2C environment.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, employee lifecycle management, and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in employee relations, including employee engagement, conflict resolution, employee escalations, grievance handling, and managing sensitive cases with discretion.
- Hands-on experience in performance management, including goal setting, performance reviews, feedback, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and employee development.
- Good knowledge of labor and employment laws, with experience ensuring HR compliance and mitigating people-related risks.
- Proficiency in HRIS, HR data management, reporting, and people analytics to support informed decision-making.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively with managers and employees across teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities and maintaining confidentiality.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. A master's degree or HR certification is an added advantage.
