Role Overview
The Program Associate will work closely with and report to the Programs Lead, supporting Veera Foundation’s programs from ideation to execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Design & Development
- Assist in ideating and shaping innovative program concepts
- Support development of program guides, plans, and content outlines
- Adapt content for different age groups and contexts (schools, colleges, community, and third spaces)
- Conduct research and stay updated on trends in gender, youth engagement, and social impact
- Support the design of evidence-informed, human-centred and behaviour change interventions for diverse audiences
- Assist in designing surveys, reflection tools, and other learning instruments
2. Program Execution & Coordination
- Support planning and end-to-end execution of the programs
- Work collaboratively with teams across Veera Foundation to support unified and aligned efforts
- Support the creation of program assets (presentations, documents) using Canva and Google Workspace
- Manage logistics and ensure smooth on-ground execution of the programs
3. Stakeholder Management & Partnerships
- Lead and support outreach to schools, colleges, non-profits, CSR partners, and other organisations
- Build, nurture, and manage partnerships across the program lifecycle
- Support onboarding of new partners and collaborators
- Manage WhatsApp groups, emails, and partner communication.
- Support facilitation and represent Veera Foundation in meetings and workshops when required.
4. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Design and administer surveys, feedback forms, and reflection tools.
- Collect and analyse participant feedback, testimonials, and program data
- Support documentation and prepare session reports, impact summaries, and internal knowledge resources
- Track key program metrics and contribute to continuous program improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Development Studies, Psychology, Education, Commerce, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in the social sector, gender, education, youth engagement, or allied fields.
- Experience working with schools, colleges, or community-based programs is preferred
- Understanding of human-centred design and behaviour change is preferred
- Experience in partnership management, outreach, stakeholder engagement, and community engagement is an advantage
- Strong initiative, problem-solving, and project coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required; Hindi preferred)
- Comfortable using Google Workspace, Canva, and AI tools
- Strong alignment with Veera Foundation's mission and values
- Willingness to travel for on-ground program delivery and meetings
