Job Purpose : Product Management and Analytics including Regulatory Compliance

Job Duties & responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior team members on developing, implementing, and monitoring product strategies and controls for the Gold Loan portfolio.
- Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing reports to provide insights for product enhancement and business growth.
- Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvement within the Gold Loan client lifecycle to enhance efficiency, customer experience and governance
- Assist in ensuring adherence to RBI guidelines (LTV, KYC/AML, auctions, interest rates, disclosures) and internal compliance standards for Gold Loan products.
- Work collaboratively with Technology, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure data integrity, facilitate system enhancements, and support risk mitigation efforts.
- Help monitor the implementation of regulatory circulars and assist in managing statutory/regulatory inspections and audit findings.
- Prepare materials for briefings on compliance observations and best practices for branch staff.
Required Experience:
- Basic knowledge of banking regulations
- Basic understanding of branch operations and lending
- Good observation, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Product management support, business analytics, or a related field within retail banking.
Education / Preferred Qualifications :
Graduate in Commerce/Finance (Postgraduate or professional certifications like CA-Inter/CIA preferred).
Core Competencies:
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (branch staff, tech, marketing, compliance, etc).
- Process Orientation: Basic understanding of end-to-end business processes and a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement
- Good communication skills
Technical Competencies :
- Basic understanding of Gold Loan product mechanics, valuation, and operational flows.
- Basic knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with banking technology landscapes and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders for system enhancements and data extraction
Work Relationship:
This role will involve extensive interaction with:
- Internal: Gold Loan Sales Team, CBG COO Team, Compliance, Risk Management, Audit, Technology, Operations, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and other relevant business units.
- External: Regulatory bodies (as required), auditors, and potentially external vendors or consultants.
