Job Overview
Join the Enterprise Platform Engineering team focused on improving the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) through platform modernization, automation, CI/CD enablement, and AI-driven engineering practices. This team partners across the organization to build tools, frameworks, and self-service capabilities that enhance developer productivity and software delivery.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
- 5-7 years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Strong coding ability, particularly with Python
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and SDLC automation
- Full-stack development background with a stronger emphasis on backend development (60-70%)
- Experience building automation tools, platform services, APIs, or shared engineering components
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Platform engineering or developer experience (DevEx) background
- Experience with AI agents, agentic workflows, RAG, or LLM-based solutions
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and engineering modernization initiatives
- Relevant cloud, DevOps, AI/ML, or platform engineering certifications
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and support platform services, automation frameworks, and shared engineering tools
- Improve CI/CD workflows and drive SDLC efficiency initiatives
- Support platform modernization and framework migration projects
- Build scalable solutions that improve developer productivity and software delivery
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and platform teams across multiple projects
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and practices to streamline development workflows
- Troubleshoot platform challenges and implement scalable solutions
Ideal Candidate
A strong software engineer with a Computer Science background who can quickly adapt to new technologies and programming languages. The ideal candidate has experience with platform products, CI/CD, and automation, along with some exposure to AI tools, agentic workflows, or AI-assisted software development. The team is seeking an engineer first, not a dedicated AI specialist.
