Role Summary
The Project cum Operation Head will be responsible for end-to-end execution of Skill Development projects, Managing Training Partner and Training center operations, and handling Skill India and State Skill Mission portals. The role demands strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Skill Development Project execution across multiple locations
- Oversee Training Partner And Training center operations including mobilization, batch management, and placement tracking
- Handle end-to-end operations of Skill India Portal (SDMS) and State Skill Mission Portals
- Ensure timely batch creation, candidate enrollment, assessment scheduling, and certification processes
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with Sector Skill Councils (SSC), Assessing Bodies, and Government Authorities
- Supervise and guide project teams, trainers, and coordinators
- Track KPIs such as enrollment, training completion, certification, and placement outcomes
- Prepare and present MIS reports, progress reports, and dashboards
- Ensure adherence to NSDC, SSC, and State guidelines
- Resolve operational challenges and ensure smooth project delivery
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Skill Development ecosystem (NSDC / SSC / State Missions)
- Hands-on experience with Skill India Portal (SDMS) & State Portals
- Excellent project management and operational skills
- Strong analytical and MIS reporting abilities
- Proven team handling and leadership skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management(SSC, NSDC, STATE MISSIONS)
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Operations Management / Relevant Field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Skill Development / Training Partner operations
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with government-funded Skill Development projects (PMKVY, DDUGKY, State Schemes, CSR projects)
- Prior experience as Project Head / Operations Manager in a Training Partner organization
