Cogniflix Artificial Intelligence Pvt Ltd (Mindflix AI) is building the next generation of AI-powered personalisation and engagement systems across voice, conversational interfaces, and real-time intelligence. Our platform combines Generative AI, deep learning, and scalable backend infrastructure to enable human-like interactions at production scale.
We are a focused engineering team working on problems at the intersection of distributed systems, real-time communication, and applied AI. The work is technically demanding and the stakes are real — our systems handle live conversations, time-critical data pipelines, and multi-tenant workloads in production.
Mindflix AI is based in Bangalore and is being built with a global outlook, including a Singapore company structure to support international expansion, enterprise partnerships, and future growth.
ROLE:
We are hiring a Solution Architect – Platform & Applied AI for a dual-mandate role: to own end-to-end technical architecture across Mindflix AI’s core product platform — multi-tenant, cloud-native, LLM-orchestrated systems — and to lead technical solutioning in client and partner conversations, while owning the translation of business requirements into buildable architecture, implementation plans, and engineering decisions that the team can execute against.
You will work directly with engineering leadership and the founding team, setting the architectural standards the engineering team builds to, while ensuring that platform, product, and client-specific requirements are translated into systems that are buildable, secure, scalable, and maintainable.
This is a hands-on architecture role, not a slide-deck role. We are looking for someone with strong backend / platform engineering roots who has grown into architectural ownership. You are expected to go deep on design, challenge weak assumptions, review code-level decisions, and remain accountable for what ultimately ships into production.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform & Systems Architecture
- Own end-to-end architecture for Mindflix AI’s core platforms — multi-tenant, cloud-native systems handling real-time, high-throughput workloads
- Design and govern orchestration layers for long-running, stateful workflows underpinning agentic AI products
- Define and enforce architectural guardrails for LLM-integrated systems, including validation, grounding, safety, fallback, and deterministic controls around probabilistic outputs
- Architect service boundaries, data models, integration patterns, and deployment topology for scalable SaaS systems
- Define standards for Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, observability, and security gates across services
AI / Agentic Systems
- Design agent orchestration architectures covering tool and function calling, memory, decomposition, and evaluation frameworks
- Define LLM adapter and scheduling layers across vendors, including routing, queueing, fallback, and cost controls
- Architect RAG pipelines, retrieval patterns, grounding strategies, and context composition for production conversational systems
- Partner with engineering on evaluation harnesses, regression test sets, and quality scoring for agentic workflows
Solutioning & Client Architecture
- Lead technical solutioning in client and partner conversations, while owning the translation of business requirements into buildable architecture, implementation plans, and engineering decisions that the team can execute against
- Produce ADRs, HLDs, solution notes, and technical proposals that leadership, engineering, and clients can act on
- Assess third-party integrations — CRM, payment gateways, messaging/BSP platforms, identity/document-verification services — for technical fit, risk, and effort
- Support pre-sales, SOW, and estimation discussions with technically credible scoping and realistic risk-adjusted effort inputs
Engineering Leadership & Governance
- Set and enforce engineering standards, design-review processes, and architectural quality bars
- Review technical proposals and architectural decisions across internal teams and external delivery contributors
- Own technical risk assessment for new initiatives — flagging unproven claims, integration risks, dependency risks, and compliance exposure before they hit production
- Write and maintain architecture documentation, runbooks, and technical onboarding material for a fast-moving engineering team
What We Are Looking ForMust Have
- 7+ years of software/platform engineering experience, with strong backend or platform engineering foundations
- At least 2–3 years of real architectural ownership across distributed systems, multi-service platforms, or client-facing solution design
- Demonstrated ownership of at least one production-grade, distributed or multi-tenant system from architecture through deployment
- Strong hands-on background in cloud-native architecture — AWS or GCP, containerised workloads, managed databases, messaging, queueing, and observability
- Experience architecting AI-integrated systems in production, including safety, reliability, evaluation, and operational trade-offs
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, service design, observability, and production failure modes
- Ability to convert ambiguous business or client requirements into technically sound, scoped designs with realistic effort and risk estimates
- Excellent technical communication — able to write ADRs/HLDs, explain trade-offs clearly, and align engineers, leadership, and clients around the same architecture direction
- Ability to join within 15 - 20 days of offer
Good to Have
- Experience with durable workflow engines such as Temporal, Cadence, or equivalent
- Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, or Agno
- Exposure to compliance-heavy domains such as data privacy, fintech, healthtech, or edtech
- Prior client-facing or pre-sales technical solutioning experience
- Experience with messaging/BSP platforms, payment gateways, CRM systems, or identity/document-verification integrations
- Prior experience in an early-stage startup environment
