About the Role
We are urgently looking for an experienced Data Cloud Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360 (D360).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable enterprise Data Cloud solutions while remaining actively involved in configuration and implementation. The role requires strong architectural leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, configuration, and implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud / D360 solutions.
- Design scalable and secure Data Cloud architectures aligned with enterprise requirements.
- Build and configure Data Cloud data flows, data ingestion, transformation, harmonization, and activation processes.
- Define data models and integration approaches across enterprise data sources.
- Provide hands-on guidance for Data Cloud configuration and implementation activities.
- Define and implement platform controls, governance, security, and architectural best practices.
- Lead solution architecture discussions with business, technical, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analyze technical requirements and translate them into scalable Data Cloud solutions.
- Ensure architecture supports performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Salesforce, Marketing, Data, Integration, and other technology teams.
- Troubleshoot complex architectural and implementation challenges.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Support solution documentation, technical design reviews, and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Experience
- 18+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Architecture / Solution Architecture roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360 (D360).
- Proven experience with Data Cloud build and configuration.
- Strong experience designing and implementing Data Cloud data flows.
- Good understanding of Data Cloud platform controls, governance, security, and core architecture.
- Ability to lead solution architecture while remaining hands-on with implementation.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and scalable solution design.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Highly Desirable
- Experience with Marketing Cloud Engagement (MCE).
- Experience with Salesforce Personalization (SP).
- Experience integrating Data Cloud with Salesforce and other enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of customer data platforms, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation.
- Salesforce Data Cloud / relevant Salesforce certifications.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior Salesforce/Data Cloud Architect who can lead architecture, make technical decisions, and actively participate in hands-on Data Cloud implementation rather than operating purely in an advisory capacity.
