We're looking for a Principal Engineer – Sitecore CMS to join our product engineering team in Bangalore and drive the design and delivery of world-class digital experience platforms.

About the Role
As a Principal Engineer – Sitecore CMS, you will play a strategic technical leadership role in designing and delivering scalable digital experience solutions using the Sitecore platform. You will work closely with architects, product teams, DevOps engineers, QA, and business stakeholders while mentoring engineering teams and driving engineering excellence.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on development, solution architecture, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Sitecore solutions.
- Drive technical discussions and define scalable application architecture.
- Establish engineering standards, coding guidelines, and development best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Mentor and guide development teams on modern engineering practices.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, QA, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.
- Identify technical risks and recommend scalable solutions.
Sitecore Development
- Develop and customize Sitecore components, templates, renderings, and pipelines.
- Build enterprise solutions using:
- Sitecore XP
- Sitecore XM
- Sitecore SXA
- Sitecore JSS / Headless Services
- Implement personalization, analytics, marketing automation, and customer engagement capabilities.
- Configure content workflows, publishing, and authoring features.
- Optimize Sitecore performance, scalability, and security.
- Integrate Sitecore with enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
Cloud & DevOps
- Deploy and manage Sitecore applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Work with Docker containers and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
- Monitor application performance and improve reliability.
Required Technical Skills
Mandatory Skills
- 10–15 years of software development experience
- Strong expertise in:

- Extensive hands-on experience with Sitecore CMS
