About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at JRD Systems. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects utilizing Agile and Scrum methodologies. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring project objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints. Your expertise in project management, business analysis, and Agile practices will be instrumental in driving successful project outcomes and enhancing our service offerings.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management and business analysis, with a strong background in delivering technical projects involving application development, cloud platforms, and enterprise integrations. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as PMP, CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, CBAP, or PRINCE2 are highly preferred. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks, SDLC, and project delivery methodologies is essential. Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Azure DevOps is expected. Basic understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows, and SQL will be advantageous. Candidates should possess excellent communication, leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
As a Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst at JRD Systems, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading end-to-end delivery of technical projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Developing comprehensive project plans, managing timelines, identifying risks and issues, and coordinating resources effectively.
- Facilitating communication among cross-functional teams including Development, QA, DevOps, Product Owners, and Business stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Monitoring project progress, preparing status reports, dashboards, and providing updates to executive leadership.
- Managing change requests with proper impact analysis and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements through various techniques such as BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and use cases.
- Conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, process mapping, and requirement elicitation sessions to capture detailed business needs.
- Ensuring complete requirement traceability and performing impact analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
- Translating business needs into functional specifications for technical teams and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate solutions.
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to foster a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Collaborating with Product Owners to prioritize and refine product backlogs, tracking sprint progress, and addressing impediments to ensure timely delivery.
- Promoting Agile best practices and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement within project teams.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing relationships, and effectively communicating project status, risks, and dependencies.
- Collaborating with global and cross-functional teams across multiple time zones to meet project objectives.
