Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Baker role based in Navi Mumbai. The Baker will prepare and bake a variety of products such as cakes, cookies, breads, and pastries according to established recipes and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include measuring and mixing ingredients, operating baking equipment, monitoring baking times and temperatures, decorating baked goods, and ensuring proper storage and labeling. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, following food safety guidelines, and coordinating with the team to meet production schedules and customer orders. The Baker may assist in developing new products, adjusting recipes, and supporting inventory management of ingredients and supplies.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Bakery operations and Baking, with the ability to follow and adapt recipes.
- Proficiency in Food Preparation, including measuring, mixing, and handling ingredients safely.
- Experience baking Cookies and related confectionery items with consistent quality.
- Ability to produce various types of Bread, focusing on texture, taste, and presentation.
- Knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a commercial bakery or pastry kitchen is preferred.
- Willingness to work early morning or flexible shifts as required by bakery operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and follow clear instructions.
