A profitable, founder-led EdTech company is looking for a CRO to lead its next chapter of growth. They've already helped 46,000+ IT professionals break into AI, Cloud, and Data careers through a high-ticket program backed by a real placement guarantee — and most of that revenue comes from the US. Now they need someone to take the number from where it is today to $10M+, the right way: profitably.
What You'll Be Doing
- Owning the funnel end to end — from webinar and application through to the closed deal
- Building and leading the sales team: hiring, coaching, comp structure, performance
- Working closely with marketing on conversion, pricing, and retention
- Making CAC, payback period, and margin your daily language, not just a quarterly report
- Deciding where acquisition dollars go next, and forecasting what that growth looks like
What Success Looks Like in Year One
- Revenue is growing — and margins are getting healthier, not thinner
- The business isn't leaning on one acquisition channel anymore
- Revenue is steady month to month, not a rollercoaster
- There's a closing team in place that performs — and is paid well for it
What We're Looking For
- You've taken a business from a few million in revenue to $10M+ — and it was you driving it, not a team you happened to be part of
- You've sold high-ticket ($5,000+) through webinars, applications, and calls — to US buyers, specifically
- Your background is in tech upskilling, certifications, bootcamps, or career-transition education
- You can talk unit economics fluently — CAC, LTV:CAC, contribution margin
- You've diversified past a single paid channel and know what that actually takes
- You can work US hours — roughly 10 PM to 8 AM IST, if based in India

- Your growth strategy starts and ends with "spend more on ads"
- You've spent your career in long-cycle enterprise B2B SaaS
- You'd rather be the brand/content person than own the revenue number
