Position SummaryWe are looking for an experienced, hands-on engineering leader to lead our Pipeline & Software Engineering division. This role is responsible for designing, developing and evolving the technology that powers our VFX and Animation production pipeline.
The ideal candidate is an engineer first and a manager second—someone who enjoys solving complex production challenges, writing clean code, reviewing architecture, mentoring engineers and working closely with artists, supervisors and production teams to build scalable workflows.
This role will lead a team of Pipeline Developers and Software Engineers while remaining actively involved in architecture, development and technical decision making.
Core Knowledge of Software Engineering and Pipeline Integrations is most desired with understanding of USD Pipelines, Houdini, Maya, other DCC applications.
