Vendor Training Manager

Role Overview
We are looking for a Vendor Training Manager with 4-6 years of experience to build and scale a structured vendor success and training function across categories. The role will be responsible for vendor onboarding, capability building, catalogue management, pricing quality, and ensuring that vendors consistently succeed on the TWC platform.
The ideal candidate will combine strong stakeholder management skills with operational rigor and will work closely with Category, Sales, Wedding Planning, and Operations teams to improve vendor performance and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Vendor Onboarding & Training :
- Design and execute training programs for newly onboarded vendors.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), training modules, and playbooks for all vendor categories.
- Ensure vendors understand TWC processes, quality standards, pricing expectations, and customer service requirements.
- Conduct regular workshops and refresher sessions for existing vendors.
Vendor Success & Retention
- Drive vendor engagement and retention across cities and categories.
- Ensure existing vendors receive consistent booking opportunities and remain active on the platform.
- Track vendor performance metrics and proactively identify vendors requiring additional support.
- Collaborate with Category and Wedding Planning teams to improve vendor utilization.
Catalogue & Content Management
- Ensure vendor catalogues, portfolios, pricing, and service offerings are accurate and regularly updated.
- Coordinate with Category teams to maintain high-quality catalogues and service listings.
- Establish processes for catalogue audits and quality checks.
Pricing & Quality Control
- Build and manage a pricing quality-control framework to ensure vendor pricing remains competitive with the market.
- Conduct periodic pricing audits and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Work with internal stakeholders to standardize pricing benchmarks across categories.
Performance Monitoring
- Track vendor activation, booking conversion, client feedback, and escalation metrics.
- Analyze reasons for low conversion and vendor churn and implement corrective actions.
- Build dashboards and reports to monitor vendor performance and training effectiveness.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Category, Customer Experience, and Wedding Planning teams to improve vendor performance.
- Gather client feedback and convert insights into actionable vendor training programs.
- Act as the primary owner of vendor capability building and operational excellence.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
Vendor Retention & Activation :
- 50% of existing vendors should receive 2–3 service order bookings every quarter.
- 50% of newly onboarded vendors should secure at least one booking within 90 days of contract signing.
- 90% of vendors should be actively pitched to 3–5 relevant clients with documented feedback.
Vendor Quality & Satisfaction
- Monthly escalations requiring vendor re-pitching should remain below 5% of the vendor base.
- Improve and maintain Vendor Net Promoter Score (NPS).
Commercial Performance
- Maintain a booking-to-suggestion conversion ratio of 20% or higher across vendors.
Qualifications :
- 4-6 years of experience in vendor management, training, category management, operations, customer success, or marketplace businesses.
- Experience in hospitality, weddings, events, marketplaces, travel, or consumer internet businesses is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to create training content, SOPs, and operational processes.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
