Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Mumbai. The Architect will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing architectural designs for commercial and residential projects, from initial sketches through detailed construction drawings. Daily tasks include collaborating with internal teams and external consultants, coordinating with project management to align design intent with timelines and budgets, and ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations. The role involves reviewing and refining design proposals, conducting site visits to monitor progress, and integrating sustainable design principles into projects. The Architect will also support stakeholder presentations, contribute to design documentation, and maintain accurate records of design changes and approvals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills, including concept development, space planning, and preparation of detailed drawings.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Management capabilities, including coordination of stakeholders, timeline management, and alignment of design with budget and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess understanding of Integration between design disciplines, such as structural, MEP, and interior design, to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Candidates should possess basic familiarity with Software Development and digital tools as applied to architecture (e.g., BIM workflows, design automation, or integration with project management platforms).
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or equivalent) and strong technical drawing skills.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval processes in Mumbai, with attention to safety and sustainability standards.
- Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional registration or licensure is an advantage.
- Previous experience in residential and commercial real estate projects is highly beneficial.
