Role Description The OMNI SPORTS ADVISOR is a full-time, on-site role based at the Decathlon store in Karol Bagh. The role involves welcoming and assisting customers, understanding their sporting needs, and recommending suitable products and services across different sports categories. Responsibilities include maintaining product displays, ensuring stock availability, and supporting both in-store and omni-channel (online-to-offline) customer journeys. The OMNI SPORTS ADVISOR will conduct basic product demonstrations, explain usage and safety guidelines, and promote sports events or training sessions organized by the store. The role also includes handling sales transactions, collecting customer feedback, and collaborating with the team to achieve store performance and customer satisfaction goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Physical Education and Sports Training to guide customers on product use and basic training principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Coaching and Sports Coaching to advise customers, support beginner-level learning, and promote an active lifestyle.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members.
- Active participation or interest in one or more sports, with the ability to share practical knowledge and experiences.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on problem-solving, empathy, and building long-term relationships.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Basic proficiency in English and local languages; prior retail or sports-related experience is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent; further education in sports, fitness, or related fields is beneficial.
