Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Architect role based in Mumbai. The Design Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, creating detailed design proposals, and preparing construction drawings that align with project requirements and brand standards. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with internal teams and external consultants, coordinating design deliverables, and ensuring design intent is maintained through all project stages. The role involves attending site visits, reviewing design feasibility, supporting design management activities, and communicating effectively with clients and project partners to address feedback and resolve design issues. The Design Architect will contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Architectural Design and Architecture skills, with experience in concept development and spatial planning.
- Proficiency in Design Management, including coordination of design stages and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to prepare and review detailed Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Relevant knowledge of building codes, standards, and local regulations in Mumbai or similar urban contexts.
- Comfort with architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools) and productivity tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent accredited qualification; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
