As Talent Acquisition at Foodstories, you will own hiring across both our store teams (retail, café, kitchen, ops) and our corporate/office functions (category, marketing, supply chain, finance, tech, and more) — across all our locations, not just one city.
This is not a resume-screening desk job. This is a hands-on, full-spectrum hiring role for someone who can flex between high-volume frontline hiring and precise corporate hiring, and who enjoys being close to the business, not just the ATS.
What You'll Own
1. TA & Hiring — Stores & Office
- Own full-cycle recruitment across store roles (F&B service, kitchen, retail, ops, store leadership) and corporate/office roles (functional and leadership hires) across all Foodstories locations.
- Manage the hiring funnel from sourcing through offer and onboarding handoff.
- Partner with Store Directors, Ops Heads, and Function Heads to understand real hiring needs — on the floor and in the office.
- Keep time-to-fill tight without compromising on quality of hire, whether it's a frontline role or a corporate one.
2. Sourcing & Pipeline Building
- Build and run sourcing strategies suited to each hiring type — walk-ins, referrals, institutes, and community networks for store roles; job portals, LinkedIn, and networks for corporate roles.
- Develop strong, ready pipelines for current openings and upcoming store launches or team expansions.
- Build relationships with institutes and talent pools specific to hospitality, F&B, and premium retail, as well as corporate functional networks.
- Track and improve sourcing channel effectiveness across both hiring streams.
3. Candidate & Stakeholder Experience
- Deliver a smooth, respectful candidate experience from first contact to offer, across all role types.
- Act as a trusted hiring partner to store leaders and function heads alike — not just an order-taker.
- Coordinate interviews, feedback loops, and offer negotiations efficiently.
- Represent Foodstories' culture and standards through every candidate interaction.
4. Hiring Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate hiring trackers, pipelines, and reporting across all locations and role types.
- Share regular visibility on open roles, funnel health, and hiring timelines with leadership.
- Flag hiring risks (attrition-driven gaps, launch timelines, market shortages) early.
5. Employer Branding
- Support employer branding efforts to make Foodstories a destination employer — for frontline talent and corporate talent alike.
- Represent Foodstories at job fairs, institute visits, hiring drives, and relevant industry forums.
We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of Talent Acquisition experience, ideally hiring for premium retail, hospitality, F&B, or 5-star hotel environments.
- Experience hiring across both frontline/store roles and corporate/office roles is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to hire at volume for frontline roles, as well as precision-hire for corporate/leadership roles.
- Strong sourcing instincts — beyond just job portals.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment across multiple locations.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Based in or willing to be based in Mumbai, with flexibility to travel across locations as needed.
