About PredicTx Health
We’re building healthcare technology designed to support better cancer care. Our work spans clinical software, patient-facing experiences, healthcare interoperability and machine learning. We’re a multidisciplinary team across engineering, product, design, ML and research, working together to turn complex clinical problems into secure, reliable and intuitive technology that can operate in real-world healthcare environments.
Our Culture
We care about doing good work and understanding why we’re doing it. We value first-principles thinking, ownership, and clear communication. We want people who are curious, comfortable challenging assumptions and willing to say when they don’t know something. We work collaboratively, with engineers working closely with product, design, ML and research rather than operating in silos.
The Role
We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help design and build the software that powers PredicTx Health’s products and platform. You’ll work across frontend applications, backend services, APIs, healthcare data and the architecture connecting our systems. We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems from first principles and thinking beyond simply making something work.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain production software across our healthcare products
- Develop frontend applications, backend services, and APIs
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design
- Work with healthcare data and integrations across the PredicTx ecosystem
- Translate product and clinical requirements into practical technical solutions
- Consider scalability, security, reliability and maintainability when making engineering decisions
- Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions and code reviews
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, ML and research
- Troubleshoot and improve existing systems and developer workflows
- Contribute to our engineering standards and ways of working as we grow
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with modern software development practices
- Experience building and shipping production web applications
- Experience working across frontend and backend systems
- Strong understanding of systems design, application architecture, and APIs
- Ability to approach unfamiliar technical problems from first principles
- Understanding of how to build maintainable, reliable, and scalable software
- Experience working with cloud-based systems and modern development workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to reason about technical trade-offs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of ownership, curiosity and attention to detail
- Experience working with healthcare interoperability and data standards, including DICOM, FHIR and HL7
- Experience working with healthcare or other sensitive data
Nice To Have
- Experience building or integrating oncology software or clinical oncology solutions
- Understanding of HIPAA and GDPR
Why Join Us?
- Work on meaningful problems across healthcare and oncology
- Build technology spanning clinical software, patient experiences, interoperability and machine learning
- Have a real say in technical architecture and engineering practices as we grow
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team rather than in isolated functions
- Take ownership of problems from early exploration through to production
- Work remotely with a team that values autonomy, curiosity and clear communication
If you enjoy understanding systems deeply, asking why and applying strong engineering fundamentals to problems that genuinely matter, we’d love to hear from you.
