Job Title: Back-end Software Development Engineering Engineer II
Location: Chennai
Work Type: Hybrid (4 Days work From Office)
Position Description:
- We are looking for an experienced PriceFx Configuration / Integration Engineer with strong expertise in PriceFx, Java, Groovy, Apache Camel, SQL, backend development, APIs, enterprise integrations, and database technologies.
- The ideal candidate will design, develop, configure, integrate, and maintain backend applications and services while working closely with customers and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- The candidate will be responsible for developing APIs and backend services, implementing enterprise integrations, supporting cloud and on-premises deployments, and improving application reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- The ideal candidate must have strong PriceFx experience and hold Pfx CE/IE Engineer certification.
Required skills & Qualifications:
- 3 –15 years of experience as a PriceFx Configuration / Integration Engineer.
- Must have PriceFx Pfx CE/IE Engineer certification.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Groovy.
- Strong experience with Apache Camel for enterprise integration.
- Strong SQL and database development experience.
- Experience with IntelliJ IDEA.
- Experience developing backend applications, APIs, microservices, and business logic.
- Experience gathering customer requirements and understanding business use cases.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and delivering backend solutions.
- Experience with enterprise databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Exposure to BigQuery is preferred.
- Experience with cloud/on-premises application deployment and monitoring.
- Understanding of CI/CD, TDD, application performance, security, encryption, and data anonymization.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical ownership skills.
