Ashish Foundation for the Differently Abled Charitable Trust (AFDA) is a Delhi-based not-for-profit organisation committed to the empowerment and inclusion of children and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities, particularly from marginalised communities in West and South-West Delhi.
For over 18 years, we have worked to create holistic education, therapeutic support and skill-building opportunities that enable individuals to live dignified, meaningful and more independent lives—and enjoy the “good things in life” alongside their peers.
We are looking for a Program Coordinator who will play a key role in ensuring the smooth implementation of our programs, coordinating among students, staff, parents, volunteers, and leadership, and maintaining a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Preferably having a background or experience in Disability, Special Education, Psychology or Counselling.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day program activities, schedules and events
- Supervise and support teachers and assistant teachers
- Coordinate communication with parents, staff, volunteers, partners and leadership
- Plan, delegate and follow up on activities, trainings and events
- Maintain student records, databases, IDPs, reports and program documentation
- Ensure timely completion of work plans and program deliverables
- Coordinate logistics for PTMs, trainings, workshops and special events
- Support admissions, assessments and parent meetings
- Coordinate staff schedules, meetings and team activities
We’re Looking For
- Excellent coordination and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and a local language
- Good documentation and digital record-keeping skills (Google Drive, MS Office)
- Ability to manage, delegate and follow up with teams
- Organised, dependable, patient and solution-focused
- Empathy and respect towards students, families and colleagues
- Commitment to inclusive education and disability rights
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach
