🚀 We're Hiring | Engineering Manager – Android
📍 Location: Pune (Hybrid)
Are you an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong Android development background and a passion for building high-performing engineering teams? We're looking for a technology leader who can drive product engineering, mentor developers, and deliver scalable mobile solutions.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor Android engineering teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications.
- Own end-to-end product delivery, from planning through production release.
- Drive engineering excellence, architecture discussions, code quality, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Champion Agile methodologies including Scrum, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Manage engineering roadmaps, project timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Drive CI/CD adoption, release management, and performance optimization.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of overall software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or Technical Manager.
- Strong hands-on background in Android application development (Java/Kotlin).
- Experience leading multiple engineering teams and mentoring senior developers.
- Expertise in Android Architecture Components, MVVM/MVI, Jetpack, REST APIs.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Digital Transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to Microservices ecosystem.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or SAFe certifications.
- Experience working in BFSI, E-commerce, Healthcare, or Enterprise Product organizations.
