Advanced Systems Engineer – ATE / Electronic Test (6–12 Years)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Advanced Systems Design Engineer with 6–12 years of experience in ATE and aerospace electronic test systems. The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing system requirements, architecture, interfaces, verification approach, and design documentation for ATE solutions supporting functional test, structural test, ESS, qualification testing, production testing, development testing, deployment, MSA, electronic test strategy support, and test process compliance. The role requires strong technical understanding of system architecture, requirement flow-down, verification traceability, and cross-functional system integration in aerospace environments.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage system requirements, architecture definitions, operational concepts, and interface specifications for ATE systems supporting aerospace electronic products.
- Support end-to-end system engineering for functional test, structural test, ESS, qualification testing, production testing, and development testing applications.
- Prepare and review engineering documents including system requirements specifications, architecture descriptions, interface control documents, verification plans, compliance matrices, deployment plans, and release packages.
- Coordinate requirement flow-down to hardware, software, embedded, and mechanical teams and ensure design alignment with system intent and verification needs.
- Support system integration, subsystem compatibility reviews, fault isolation, issue resolution, and corrective action implementation during development and deployment phases.
- Participate in trade studies, requirement impact assessments, design reviews, readiness reviews, and configuration management activities.
- Drive traceability between customer requirements, derived requirements, design elements, verification methods, and evidence records.
- Support deployment planning, field issue analysis, system configuration baselines, and release readiness from a systems engineering perspective.
- Coordinate or support MSA activities including measurement chain definition, traceability support, calibration awareness, correlation analysis support, and measurement system performance evaluation.
- Contribute to product-level electronic test strategy by aligning system architecture with test coverage, maintainability, scalability, reliability, and production objectives.
- Ensure compliance with defined test processes, systems engineering standards, design governance, and aerospace documentation requirements.
