Founder's Office - Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role (preferably in office) to work closely with the Founder’s Office at Proteus Partners. This is not a decorative resume role - it demands ownership, speed, and the willingness to stretch beyond comfort.
Day to day responsibilities include executing key initiatives across portfolio startups, conducting deep market analysis, solving real-time operational challenges, and driving structured communication across teams. You will help establish strong internal processes, contribute directly to scaling operations, and support founders with timely, accurate, and actionable insights that influence high-stakes decisions.
You will actively engage with new and existing founders, build strong working relationships, and drive operational excellence as we help them scale. You will represent Proteus in these interactions. Clarity, maturity, and accountability are non negotiable.
This role involves direct operational ownership of businesses associated with Proteus. We treat these startups as our own and so should you. Expect to be deeply involved in execution, firefighting, process building, and scaling. This is high responsibility, high exposure, high-growth - for those ready to build, not just observe.
Qualifications
- Strong project management, organizational abilities, and process optimization expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
- Technical aptitude to adapt to tools and systems, and proficiency in data analysis
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem resolution
- Experience in startups, business consultancy, or similar environments is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field; an MBA is an advantage
