Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Wealth Manager role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Wealth Manager will work with individual and corporate clients to understand their financial goals, assess risk tolerance, and design tailored financial plans. Responsibilities include advising on investment options, managing portfolios, monitoring market trends, and regularly reviewing performance against client objectives. The role involves evaluating insurance needs, recommending appropriate coverage, and coordinating with internal and external partners to deliver comprehensive wealth and risk management solutions. The Wealth Manager will prepare reports, present recommendations, maintain accurate client records, and ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Finance to analyze client needs and develop holistic wealth strategies.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Investment Management and Investments to construct, monitor, and optimize diversified portfolios.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Insurance to advise on risk mitigation and suitable protection solutions.
- Candidates should have excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
- Candidates should ideally have a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Candidates should be comfortable working on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area and collaborating within a dynamic, target-driven environment.
As a Wealth Relationship Manager on the PMS Acquisition team, you own the prospect-to-investor sales cycle for HNI clients exploring Portfolio Management Services with Scripbox. You'll run exploration meetings, conduct portfolio audits, present the PMS strategies that best fit a client's goals, and hand-hold them through the decision and onboarding journey. This is a pure consultative sales rore.
Your success is measured by qualified meetings converted, AUM onboarded, and the quality of the client experience during the acquisition journey. You will work in close partnership with the marketing team (who delivers qualified leads), the investment/product team (who supports you on strategy fitment), and the servicing RM pod (who takes over the client relationship for long-term advisory after onboarding).
Must have -
3-6 years in consultative sales, ideally in wealth management, private banking, broking, AMC/distribution, or comparable high-ticket B2C sales (real estate, premium credit cares, insurance to HNIs, etc.).
A demonstrable track record of closing - not just servicing, not just relationship-building.
We will dig into specific numbers and specific deals.
Strong discovery instincts: knows how to ask open-ended questions, listen, and steer a conversation without pushing.
Comfortable with a structured sales cycle - keeps prospects warm, runs disciplined follow-ups, manages multiple parallel pipelines without losing the thread.
Calm, confident, decisive presence in HNI conversations. Comes across as a peer, not a vendor.
High process discipline - CRM hygiene, meeting prep, follow-through on commitments.
Working knowledge of Indian equity and debt markets; understands how MFs, stocks, and broader investment products.
