Job Description
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring experienced SAP ABAP (BTP) Consultants to join its SAP Digital Transformation Practice. We are looking for professionals with strong expertise in ABAP development, SAP BTP services, SAP Fiori, RAP model, and S/4HANA extensions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance applications using SAP ABAP on BTP.
- Build and extend SAP applications using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Develop RESTful applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Work on SAP Fiori/UI5 application development and customizations.
- Develop and support CDS Views, OData Services, AMDP, and ABAP Objects.
- Create side-by-side extensions and integrations on SAP BTP.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Prepare technical specifications and ensure adherence to development standards.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Development.
- Expertise in:
- ABAP Objects
- CDS Views
- OData Services
- RAP Model
- AMDP
- SAP Fiori/UI5
- SAP BTP Extension Suite
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA development environment.
- Knowledge of APIs, integration services, and cloud-based application development.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
- Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite and SAP BTP Services.
- SAP BTP and SAP ABAP certifications are an added advantage.
- Exposure to SAP Clean Core and Side-by-Side Extension Architecture.
- Experience in implementation and migration projects.
Eligibility
✅ 5 to 15 years of overall IT experience
✅ Relevant experience in SAP ABAP and SAP BTP
✅ Experience in Implementation, Upgrade, Enhancement, Development, or Support Projects
