Position Summary
SII Group is seeking an experienced Software Architect / Senior Java Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team in Noida.
This role is ideal for a highly skilled technology professional with extensive experience in Java-based enterprise application development, Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Systems, Cloud Platforms, DevOps practices, and Technical Leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, resilient, and cloud-native solutions for global customers.

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native architectures.
- Define technical standards, design guidelines, and best practices.
- Drive modernization of legacy applications and platforms.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, scalability, and system resilience.
Application Development
- Develop enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring technologies.
- Design RESTful APIs and distributed microservices.
- Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
- Build high-performance backend systems capable of handling large transaction volumes.
Cloud & DevOps
- Design and deploy applications on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Support infrastructure automation and deployment automation initiatives.
Leadership & Governance
- Lead technical discussions and architecture reviews.
- Mentor developers and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and project teams.
- Drive engineering excellence through code reviews and best practices.
Performance & Reliability
- Optimize application performance and system efficiency.
- Implement monitoring, observability, and resiliency patterns.
- Support root cause analysis and production issue resolution.
