Your role
As Software Architect, you will own the end-to-end technical architecture of our platform — front-end, backend, data, and infrastructure — as we scale a system that authenticates products for global enterprise brands in real time, at massive volume.
You will set the architectural foundation for a company built with an “agentic-first” engineering culture, where AI agents are first-class participants in how we design, build, and ship software. You will partner closely with engineering, product, data science, and leadership to translate our roadmap into resilient, secure, and scalable systems.
What will you do?
•End-to-End Architecture Ownership:. Own and evolve the end-to-end technical architecture across web, mobile, back-end, data, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and consistency across the platform.
•Platform Scalability & Reliability: Architect systems that authenticate products at global scale — high-throughput image and ML pipelines, sub-second API response targets, and horizontal scalability across regions.
•Full-Stack Technology Strategy: Define and document architectural decisions across front-end frameworks, backend microservices, data infrastructure, and DevOps — balancing build-vs-buy, technical debt, and long-term maintainability.
•Agentic-Ready Architecture: Partner with engineering leadership to architect systems, contracts, and workflows that work equally well for human engineers and AI coding/QA agents — including agent-consumable APIs and MCP-based tooling.
•Data & ML Infrastructure: Design data storage and pipeline strategy across relational, NoSQL, and vector/RAG stores to support both application data and ML-driven authentication workloads.
•Cloud & DevOps Architecture: Define cloud infrastructure architecture (containerized, Kubernetes-based, multi-region), CI/CD strategy, observability, and security posture across the stack.
•Governance, Standards & Mentorship: Establish architectural principles, design review processes, and coding/API standards; run architecture reviews and mentor engineers across front-end, backend, data, and DevOps disciplines.
•Security & Compliance: Ensure the architecture meets the security, privacy, and compliance expectations of enterprise clients operating in regulated industries.
•Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with product, engineering, and data science leadership to translate business and product roadmaps into scalable, sequenced technical architecture.
What do we look for at Ennoventure?
Must Have
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•7-8 years of software engineering experience, including meaningful time in an architecture-focused role designing and shipping production systems on a scale.
•Backend depth, full-stack breadth: Deep, hands-on expertise in backend architecture — microservices, REST/GraphQL API design, idempotency, and machine-readable contracts — plus working fluency across front-end, data, and DevOps.
•Front-end: Solid understanding of modern frameworks (React/Next.js) and mobile app architecture (native or cross-platform) and how they integrate with backend and agent-driven workflows.
•Data: Experience architecting relational and NoSQL data stores (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and the data pipelines that feed them.
•Cloud/DevOps: Hands-on experience architecting on AWS, GCP, or Azure, with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or equivalent).
•Architecting for Scale: Proven track record designing for scale, performance, and reliability — SLAs, fault tolerance, observability, and graceful degradation underload.
•Security Mindset: Strong grasp of security best practices for a multi-tenant, enterprise-grade SaaS platform, including data protection and compliance requirements.
•Communication & Influence: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence technical direction, drive alignment across teams, and present architecture clearly to both engineers and leadership.
Nice-to-Have
•Experience architecting systems that integrate AI/LLM agents into production workflows or applying “agentic-first” design principles.
•Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent orchestration frameworks such as Lang Chain, Lang Graph, or Crew AI.
•Experience with computer vision or ML-serving infrastructure operating at scale.
•Background in a high-growth B2B SaaS company, ideally in security, brand protection, fraud, or trust & safety.
•Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
•Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector) and RAG architecture.
•Prior experience standing up architecture governance and review processes inside a scaling engineering organization.
