About the Company
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Functional Project Manager with 4–5 years of experience in managing enterprise application implementation and integration projects. The ideal candidate will own the functional delivery of integration initiatives between IBM Maximo and Oracle Fusion, acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams.
About the Role
This role requires strong project management, business process analysis, stakeholder communication, and functional coordination skills to ensure successful project execution from requirement gathering through production deployment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the functional planning and execution of IBM Maximo and Oracle Fusion integration projects.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process workflows.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements for technical teams.
- Coordinate with business users, solution architects, integration developers, QA teams, and third-party vendors.
- Drive project planning, sprint execution, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
- Facilitate requirement workshops, design discussions, status meetings, and UAT sessions.
- Review integration designs, data mapping documents, and functional specifications to ensure business alignment.
- Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment planning, and hypercare activities.
- Manage change requests, project documentation, meeting minutes, and project status reports.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, Agile, or similar project management certification is preferred.
Required Skills
- 4–5 years of experience as a Functional Project Manager, Functional Consultant, or Business Analyst with project management responsibilities.
- Experience managing enterprise application implementation or integration projects.
- Strong functional knowledge of IBM Maximo and/or Oracle Fusion ERP.
- Experience in requirement gathering, business process mapping, BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and functional documentation.
- Good understanding of enterprise integration concepts, APIs, middleware, and data flow.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience delivering IBM Maximo and Oracle Fusion integration projects.
- Understanding of Asset Management, Maintenance, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain business processes.
- Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar integration platforms.
- Experience coordinating SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-go-live support.
- Basic understanding of SQL and data validation is an added advantage.
