Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with 10+ years of overall IT experience and strong expertise in Java, .NET, Enterprise Application Architecture, AI and Generative AI. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable enterprise solutions, defining architecture strategies, and integrating modern GenAI capabilities into business applications.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement end-to-end solution architecture for complex enterprise applications.
Design scalable, secure, highly available, and high-performance solutions using Java and/or .NET technologies.
Provide technical leadership across application architecture, integration, APIs, cloud, data, and AI/GenAI components.
Evaluate business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable architecture and solution designs.
Design microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
Lead architecture decisions involving Java, .NET, databases, cloud platforms, integration frameworks, and enterprise applications.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI and Generative AI to improve products, applications, and business processes.
Design and integrate LLM/GenAI-based solutions, AI services, copilots, chatbots, RAG-based applications, and AI agents where applicable.
Work with technologies and platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, AWS/Azure AI services, Hugging Face, LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent GenAI tools.
Define architecture patterns for RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, model integration, and AI orchestration.
Assess existing applications and recommend modernization, migration, and transformation strategies.
Establish architecture standards, design principles, coding standards, and technology guidelines.
Conduct architecture reviews, proof-of-concepts, and technology evaluations.
Collaborate with engineering, product, DevOps, cloud, security, data, and business teams.
Mentor senior developers and architects and provide technical guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
Ensure solutions meet requirements related to security, scalability, reliability, performance, maintainability, and compliance.
Mandatory Skills:
10+ years of experience in software development, enterprise architecture, or solution architecture.
Strong experience in Solution Architecture / Enterprise Application Architecture.
Strong hands-on expertise in Java and/or .NET technologies.
Experience designing enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.
Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, integration patterns, messaging, and cloud architecture.
Strong knowledge of AI and Generative AI concepts, products, and tools.
Experience integrating GenAI/LLM capabilities into enterprise applications or products.
Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and technology selection.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
GenAI / AI Skills:
Understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, AI agents, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
Experience with one or more GenAI platforms/tools such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, Hugging Face, LangChain, or LangGraph.
Experience designing AI-powered enterprise applications, copilots, conversational solutions, or intelligent automation.
Understanding of Responsible AI, security, data privacy, model governance, and GenAI application architecture.
Java / .NET Architecture:
Strong understanding of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and enterprise application development.
Alternatively/ additionally, strong experience with .NET Core/.NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API.
Experience with microservices architecture, API Gateway, authentication/authorization, caching, messaging, and asynchronous processing.
Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
Experience with cloud-native architecture and containerization using Docker/Kubernetes is preferred.
Preferred / Desirable Skills:
Cloud architecture experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar technologies.
Experience with enterprise integration, API management, event streaming, and messaging platforms.
Experience leading architecture for digital transformation, application modernization, or cloud migration programs.
Knowledge of MLOps/ LLMOps and AI governance.
Experience building or architecting multi-agent / agentic AI solutions is an advantage.
