Role Description The Technical Training Manager (Mechanical and Electrical) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dammam - Saudi Arabia, responsible for managing and executing technical training programs for production, maintenance, and quality teams. The role involves assessing training needs, designing curricula and modules, and delivering classroom and on-the-job training sessions aligned with manufacturing and safety standards. The Technical Training Manager develops learning plans, maintains training records, and evaluates training effectiveness to ensure skills are applied on the shop floor. This role collaborates closely with operations, engineering, HR, and HSE teams to integrate training with process improvements, compliance requirements, and competency frameworks. The Technical Training Manager also updates content based on new technologies, equipment, and procedures, and supports onboarding and continuous learning initiatives for technical staff.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Training Management and Training & Development to plan, implement, and monitor technical learning programs.
- Hands-on experience in Technical Training and Training delivery, including designing and conducting technical modules for manufacturing or engineering teams.
- Knowledge of Learning Management systems and tools to manage content, track participation, and report training outcomes.
- Background in industrial, mechanical, Electrical or manufacturing environments; experience in steel, pipes, or heavy engineering is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Education, Human Resources, or a related field; advanced certifications in training or instructional design are beneficial.
- Ability to create clear training materials, SOPs, and job aids; strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proven capability to work cross-functionally with operations and HR, and to coach team members at different skill levels.
- Familiarity with safety standards, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is preferred.
