About The Role
This is a founding engineer hire the 3rd or 4th person joining the team. You''ll own a significant portion of the product and make core technical decisions. This isn''t a role where you wait for specs you''ll discover problems, prototype solutions, and ship fast.
What You''ll Work On
- Web development building and owning core product surfaces across the platform
- MCP tools building and integrating Model Context Protocol-based workflows and agent tooling
- Observability setting up and owning LLM and system observability across the product
- Core technical decisions real ownership, your decisions will ship to real users
What We''re Looking For
- 3-4 years of software development experience
- Strong web development fundamentals not just framework knowledge, but genuine product instincts
- Experience building with or integrating AI tools LLM APIs, MCP, agentic workflows
- Someone who has built something for real consumers a live app, a side project, or an open-source tool that real people use
- High autonomy comfortable working without hand-holding, discovering what needs to be built
- Curiosity about new tools the kind of person who tries new frameworks and builds prototypes on weekends
- Consumer product experience strongly preferred this combination is genuinely hard to find
What Makes a Hero Profile
- MCP built in production or in side projects
- Published open-source packages or live consumer apps
- LangChain / LangGraph / RAG / CrewAI in production
- Full-stack: Python/FastAPI + React/Next.js + TypeScript
- Observability tools LangSmith, Prometheus, Grafana
- Works fast, ships independently, comfortable in a 3-person team
