Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, execution-focused, and strategically minded Manager – Program Management to join our founding team.
This role will serve as the central program management office (PMO) for the organization, driving end-to-end execution across all business-critical initiatives required to establish and launch our brokerage business.
From regulatory licensing and exchange memberships to technology implementation, partner onboarding, operational readiness, governance, and commercial launch, you will ensure that every workstream progresses on schedule, risks are proactively managed, and leadership has complete visibility into execution.
You will work directly with founders and senior leadership, acting as the connective tissue across business, compliance, legal, technology, finance, operations, and external ecosystem partners.
Key Responsibilities
Program Strategy & Governance
- Own the master program plan for building and launching the brokerage business.
- Develop integrated execution roadmaps covering licensing, regulatory approvals, technology, operations, partnerships, and go-live readiness.
- Establish governance frameworks, steering committees, review cadences, and executive reporting mechanisms.
- Define success metrics, critical milestones, dependencies, and program KPIs.
Regulatory Licensing & Liaison Management
Drive end-to-end coordination of all regulatory and licensing activities, including:
- SEBI Stock Broker registration
- NSE/BSE membership applications
- Clearing Corporation onboarding
- Depository (NSDL/CDSL) coordination
- Regulatory documentation and submissions
- Responses to regulatory observations
- Coordination with legal and compliance teams
- Tracking approval timelines and regulatory milestones
Act as the central coordinator between internal teams and regulators, exchanges, depositories, and other market infrastructure institutions to ensure timely execution.
Cross-Functional Program Management
Lead execution across multiple concurrent workstreams, including:
- Regulatory & Licensing

Ensure seamless coordination between teams while proactively resolving blockers and managing interdependencies.
Project Planning & Execution
- Build detailed project plans with milestones, owners, timelines, and dependencies.
- Track progress against deliverables and identify risks early.
- Facilitate weekly execution reviews and leadership updates.
- Drive accountability across internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain issue logs, decision registers, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs, and action trackers.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with strategic partners, including:
- Technology vendors
- Clearing members
- Banking partners
- Payment providers
- KYC vendors
- Market data providers
- Cybersecurity partners
- Cloud providers
- Compliance solution providers
- External consultants
Ensure timely delivery of contractual commitments, integration milestones, certifications, and launch readiness.
Regulatory & Operational Readiness
Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure readiness across:
- Policies and procedures
- SOP documentation
- Internal controls
- Audit preparedness
- Business continuity planning
- Disaster recovery readiness
- Exchange certification
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Operational playbooks
Coordinate enterprise-wide readiness assessments prior to launch.
Executive Reporting
Develop dashboards and executive reports covering:
- Program health
- Milestone achievement
- Critical path progress
- Budget utilization
- Regulatory status
- Risks and mitigation plans
- Vendor performance
- Launch readiness scorecards
Provide concise, data-driven updates to founders and leadership.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve execution efficiency and governance.
- Standardize project management methodologies and documentation.
- Implement best practices for program management in a fast-growing regulated environment.
- Build scalable operating frameworks to support future expansion.
Success Metrics (First 12 Months)
- Achieve timely completion of all regulatory licensing and membership milestones.
- Deliver integrated program plans with 95%+ milestone adherence.
- Ensure all critical workstreams are launch-ready before production go-live.
- Establish a robust PMO governance framework for the organization.
- Maintain transparent executive reporting with proactive risk management.
- Coordinate successful execution of UAT, certifications, and operational readiness activities.
- Support a successful commercial launch of the brokerage platform.
Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in Program Management, PMO, Strategy Execution, Consulting, or Business Transformation.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in financial services, fintech, banking, capital markets, or regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
