Role Description The Head of Security at Vivid Pulse is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position is responsible for defining and implementing the organization’s overall security strategy, covering information, network, cyber, and physical security. Day-to-day tasks include assessing security risks, overseeing security operations, coordinating incident response, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The Head of Security will collaborate with technology, operations, and leadership teams to establish security policies, conduct regular audits, and lead awareness and training programs. The role also involves vendor management, continuous improvement of security tools and processes, and reporting on security posture to senior management.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Information Security and Cybersecurity, including risk assessment, threat mitigation, and security architecture.
- Proficiency in Network Security, such as firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network design.
- Experience overseeing Physical Security, including access control, surveillance, and facility security protocols.
- Knowledge of Business Continuity planning, disaster recovery strategies, and resilience frameworks.
- Proven experience in a senior security leadership role, preferably as Head of Security, CISO, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, data protection laws).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex security projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant security certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, CEH) are an advantage.
