Role Description The Senior Design Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane. This role involves leading architectural design concepts from initial briefing through detailed design, preparing construction drawings, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and client requirements. The Senior Design Architect will coordinate design reviews, collaborate with project managers and engineering consultants, and oversee design documentation quality. Daily responsibilities include guiding junior team members, participating in client meetings, resolving design-related issues during construction, and ensuring that design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5yrs experience is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in Architectural Design and Architecture, with experience leading complex projects.
- Proficiency in Design Management, including coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and managing design deliverables.
- Ability to prepare and review detailed Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Relevant professional registration or licensure (where applicable) is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and visualization tools is highly beneficial.
- Experience with local building codes, regulations, and approval processes in Thane or the wider region.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior architects, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
