About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Architect – Conga CPQ & CLM with strong hands-on expertise in Conga Products, particularly Conga CPQ and Conga CLM.
The ideal candidate should have proven experience leading technical architecture, requirement workshops, technical design, integrations, data migration, POCs, deployment strategies, and technical teams across enterprise Conga implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical architecture and solution design for Conga CPQ and CLM implementations.
- Participate in functional requirement workshops and collaborate with Solution Architects to identify functional gaps and customization requirements.
- Lead technical workshops and document technical requirements for customizations, integrations, and data migration.
- Conduct technical Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate proposed solutions.
- Create detailed low-level technical designs aligned with business and functional requirements.
- Define and review integration approaches, architecture, and technical design.
- Develop and maintain data migration strategies and technical approaches.
- Work closely with Engineering Managers and Solution Architects to define development sprints and technical deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve complex challenges faced by the development team.
- Support sprint demonstrations and technical solution walkthroughs.
- Conduct regular code reviews and peer reviews using appropriate code-analysis tools.
- Lead internal build reviews, capture feedback, and drive technical improvements to closure.
- Collaborate with EM/SA teams for SIT and UAT planning and execution.
- Define Conga org/environment strategies and deployment approaches.
- Support deployment activities across multiple environments.
- Work directly with Conga product support teams on product-related issues and cases.
- Provide technical support during production hypercare.
- Mentor developers and promote technical best practices, scalability, security, and maintainability.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Conga CPQ and Conga CLM.
- Proven experience working as a Technical Architect on Conga implementations.
- Strong experience in technical requirement gathering and solution design.
- Experience with Conga CPQ customization and integration.
- Experience with Turbo Pricing Callbacks.
- Strong C# development experience.
- Experience with RLP (Conga Advantage Platform).
- Strong understanding of integration architecture and enterprise application integrations.
- Experience with data migration strategy and execution.
- Experience with technical POCs and low-level technical design.
- Strong understanding of deployment and environment management.
- Experience with code reviews, technical governance, and development best practices.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise Conga implementations.
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management experience.
- Experience collaborating with Solution Architects, Engineering Managers, developers, QA, and business teams.
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, production deployment, and hypercare.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor development teams.
